As we near the end of the first marking period, I would like to remind students to get in all of their missing work (due no later than Friday, Nov. 1) and to consider using their Liberty & Lambie Points to retake some of the not-so-good-grade quizzes. Error Analysis can be completed to improve quiz and test grades (for 1/2 credit on multiple choice and full credit on TEI-type questions). Students can also retake/redo assessments and assignments using class points (Liberty & Lambie). Digital copies of all graded assignments (aside from quizzes and tests) can be found in the assignments folder on Edline as well as on Edmodo and the class blog.
Grades can be checked on Edline every week and we've had (and will continue to have) opportunities to check in class. Also, all grades for this week (aside from the test that needs to be finished by some students) will be the first grades for the next term. This gives students a chance to pull those grades up if necessary that they wouldn't have otherwise.
Parents and guardians, please encourage your children with this endeavor.
